I woke this morning to a drenched ground and grey sky. The hood of my sleeping bag was wet as I left a space open in my bivy sack for air, but the rest of me stayed pretty dry. The thing about camping on the road is that you just feel damp all day and things take a while to dry off. I used a bungee chord to elevate the top end of my bivy bag and give my face some clearance and it was fine, as long as you don't suffer from claustrophobia.
We're at Susan's tonight so our gear will have a better chance to dry out.Posted by Nick at November 09, 2002 08:00 AM
